Biochemicals, Custom Synthesis, Extraction of Plant Ingredients, Natural Products, Polymers for HPLC-Separations

Since 1991, Orgentis Chemicals has been providing developments of synthetic procedures and chemical synthesis for our customers. One main focus of our activities is the purification and separation of natural products and synthetic organic compounds.

Orgentis Chemicals produces and delivers chemicals for special applications from laboratory scale to semi-bulk quantities, including pure enantiomers of chiral compounds, derivatives of amino acids and carbohydrates. Our new developed polymer based separation material OrgaChrom S shows outstanding separation properties, especially for the preparative HPLC separation of peptides like insulin and related compounds. Also separations in the fields of natural product chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry can often be achieved with very high efficiency.

More than 1,000 square meters well equipped multipurpose laboratories and pilot plant facilities allow the use of many different technologies like

  • Research and product development
  • Development of synthesis processes
  • Optimising of existing processes
  • Isolation and modification of natural products
  • Up-scaling from laboratory scale to pilot scale
  • Lab-scale and semi-bulk production
  • Custom synthesis

Single and multi-step proceduresOur Core Compentencies:We synthesize molecules and isolate natural products according to your requirements for your individual convenience.

We provide high efficient polymer separation phases for the purification of biomolecules.

  • Separation, isolation, purification of Natural Products e.g. Xanthohumol, Isoxanthohumol, 8-Prenylnaringenin
  • Synthetic modification of natural products e.g. derivatives of carbohydrates and amino acids
  • Synthesis of diagnostic and pharmaceutical intermediates, chiral building blocks and products for material science applications
  • Development of Polymer Phases for HPLC separations e.g. separation of peptide hormons like insulin
